SOCOM 4 is, as the name suggests the fourth edition of the SOCOM series and is set to release sometime in 2011. The game is being developed by Zipper Interactive and published by Sony Computer Electronics. The game was officially announced in 2010 on the PlayStation blog by Jeremy Dunham. Also, the first trailer for the game was released on 5th March 2010. The videogame has been described as “third person tactical shooter.” There is plenty of military combat involved and the players are based in squads.
